A Little About Us.

Newport Baptist Church is an independent congregation whose ultimate purpose and reason for existence is to bring glory to God.

In order to accomplish this purpose, the following mission statement and strategy has been developed and implemented.

Our Mission

To seek the lost, cultivate mature disciples, and to serve one another all for the Glory of God.

Our Strategy

EXALT: the Lord through meaningful worship Romans15:5-6

EVANGELIZE: the lost both locally and abroad, Matthew28:19-20

EDIFY: the church so that spiritual maturity and unity may be attained, Ephesians4:14-16

EQUIP: one another for various forms of service, Ephesians4:11-13

ENCOURAGE: those who are in spiritual or emotional need, 1Thes4:18

EXEMPLIFY: holy living through faithful obedience to the scriptures, 1Timothy4:12

EXTEND: our efforts, prayer, and support to missionaries, Phillipians4:10-19
